I think all of us, somewhere down the line, have approached a older legal person to purchase us alcohol. Back in my youth, I did this probably 5 or 10 times before I found out how stupid it was.
This week I'd like to talk to you about your door and window safety. It's a topic that we rarely think of or look at, yet it's the first line of defense when it comes to protecting your family.
As parents it is our RESPONSIBILITY to know what our children are doing online! Our kids don't realize the danger they are putting themselves in when they agree to meet people they have only "chatted" with online. These predators are very convincing in what they type and are always there to listen to your child when you are not.
Parents need to get educated on at least the safety part of the internet if they want to know what their kids are up to. Keeping an eye on your kids in cyberspace is like keeping an eye on your kids at the playground. You would keep a really close eye on them when anyone other than another kid interacts with your child. Especially a grown up that showed up to the playground alone without kids.
